School assignment.. I chose to draw the origin of the orca. If I remember the story correctly, native americans believed orcas were half whale, half bird.
The orca was created when a whale fell in love with a beautiful bird. The two creatures, looking very different from one another, could not live in each others worlds. To mate, the whale jumped as high as it possibly could, while the bird swept down from the sky, and thus, the orca was born. The black sky and the rolling clouds gave the orca it's markings, and the big flippers indicated it was the offspring of a bird and a whale, as it could almost take to the skies when leaping from the surface. Almost. To illustrate this, I've connected it's tail with the ocean. The stars in the sky is the constellation Cygnus, also known as The Swan.
Now THIS is really something. It's awesome. End of story.

Wouldn't it be cool, if your body organs were made of mechanical parts? I bet.

man is bolted to the earth by the weight of earth's gravity that he is born with. But just sink beneath the surface...you're free.
